I made the trip to Dallas a couple weeks ago with the bf for a MAAST trade and some aquarium browsing. Dallas, I believe, has their own board, but I thought the feedback might be handy here too.

City of Austin, I love you and I'd never dream of moving, but omg, the Dallas stores were like Disneyland & your favorite candy store melded into one. We only made it to two stores but they were worth the entire trip.

True Percula - Large, bright, clean, enormous selection and numerous SW display tanks. The staff, and even the customers, were very friendly and helpful. I would like to give an extra thank you to the gentleman who helped us and put up with my newbie-ness. I don't know his real name but I believe he goes by TruePerc on the boards. Man, he was on it! Multi-tasking a bunch of different things but still made us feel that he had all the time in the world to help us. His advice was honest and in no way was he trying to just sell stuff. He was familiar with all the stock like the back of his hand.

Dallas North - Has a very upper class vibe to it which was new for me. There selection was not as large as TruePercula but their store was very nice. Healthy fish and clean tanks. The gentleman who helped us was VERY knowledgeable. After asking the typical "Where is the best place for this coral?" question he not only told me where to place in the tank but why. He was talking about ocean shelves and swift currents with overhangs, etc. I was impressed.
