Anthias

Anyone know off the top of their head if different species of Anthias can be kept together? Looking at a pair of these two types for my 220.....

I do not see why it would be a problem in a tank that size. Did you notice the part that states

"The Ventralis Anthias does best in low-to-moderate indirect lighting on a diet of zooplankton and floating filamentous algae."

It also states its difficult to keep so good luck if you go with them.

I want to do a shool of Square anthias in my 210.

that would be nice.....i like the look of a school of anthias over a school of green chromis and of course who wouldn't but that definately comes with a price tag..

And I did read that in the description.....but most of the fish I want in my tank are indeed the more "difficult" species...but those are the ones that are visually attractive to me.

I had some Lyretail anthias in my old 125g a couple years ago! They really set the colors off in the tank. I believe I had 3 females and a male. I am still thinking of getting more when I upgrade to my bigger tank later on. You could actually get 5-6 females with a male with your tank, if not more depending on the size of the school you want.

Yeah I remember you saying that....could definitely buy alot more of those for the price of the two pairs I have listed above....
