Thread: 110 Gallon FOWLR

  1. #1

    Default 110 Gallon FOWLR

Sold the tank, half the rock and the skimmer. I'm going to hang on to the sump for now to keep the remaining live rock and sand alive. We will HOPEFULLY be moving next weekend and will set up a new sump. I'll repost this one with better photos, and maybe another. Thanks for looking everyone!!!

Sale Pending on the tank. I'll be moving the rock to the sump to keep it circulating...and the sand into a bucket if the sale goes through.

do you have any pics. for the sump? and the exact height..thx
Reefing is just like cooking, all the ingredients have to be just right , except you don't have to bring the water to a BOIL...

I can't get that info. until I get home tonight, which will be late. We have the sump baffled, if that's the right word. I don't think it's drilled at all...the overflow dumps from a tube above and the other end has the pump which is connected to the squids. I'll try get photos tonight.

I do have another that is 50 gallons and is drilled...will get some photos of that as well...may end up selling that one.

    Default Pics and dimensions

It's not in the best area to take photos...and the skimmer needs to be cleaned, but I did my best. Will be easier once we take down the tank.

The sump is not drilled, just a 75 gallon tank. We made three main sections. The first one on the left is divide in two. The water comes in, goes through bio balls (which we are keeping LOL), enters the second area at the bottom.

Then it moves into the main part through "baffles"...over, then under, then over into the main part. This is the same when switching to the are where the return pump sits. The third piece of plexi came loose because we didn't want long enough for it to try...can be easily fixed.

It is 4 feet long, 21 inches tall and 18 inches deep.

You can see the skimmer in some of the photos. The skimmer is 31" tall.
