I have read some stuff on ReefCentral using acrylic or fiberglass rods, but would be curious to hear how you put these together. Also, how do you like the light fixture? My biggest concern is the dang fans being noisey...I was actually considering going with the T5 Aquatinic setup but still debating as yet. Maybe this one would be a good choice? Do tell.
Well, the rock was setup by Ismael (Maelv) who did a GREAT job in my opinion. He stacked it real nice and stacked it in the middle of the tank, so there is swimming room and easier flow on the back side.

The lights so far, are AMAZING! They're pretty quiet and look real nice. The ONLY thing I do not like about them, is that they are somewhat bulky and you don't have a lot of room for adjusting to much or maintenance to the tank. So if your bigger built it will cause some problems. More than likely, anything other than placing corals or feeding, the lights will have to come off. Other than that, they're great! The T5's complement the halides VERY well, and having just turned on the moonlights now that the regular lights are off, I am EXTREMELY pleased! The moonlights are much better than I expected! If you decide to go with this fixture, let me know. I found a place that sells them for about $75-$150 cheaper than everyone else with free shipping. They also included free mounting legs, hanging kit, and 2 timers!

As for the Koralia power heads, they work great, but I went with a fine grain of sand, so they are blowing it and basically making hills and sections throughout the tank. I actually have one of them turned off since I do not need that much flow quite yet. They are VERY quiet though and are extremely nice for the price!
