    Default i am very sorry

during the summer i was transplanting a sago and one of the pointy things went under my fingernail. i thought it just hurt, but the next morning i found myself with a red line going up my arm and was at the emergency getting a shot.

Thank you for the information about pets...i would not have thought about keeping it away from my dog.

I'm so sorry about your Rita. Thank you for the information I had no idea it caused liver failure, then ultimately death.

Very sorry to hear of your loss.

Thanks for the information. I was unaware palms were toxic.

Thanks for the kind words everyone... This was my 8yr old son's first "real" pet and he is very bummed to lose his friend. It has been very hard explaining why we did what we did and that she won't be coming home.

As a dog lover, I'm sorry to hear about your loss. I have a blue heeler pup that likes to get into everything. Thank you for bringing this information to all us dog lover's out here. I would be devastated too if I lost my little one.

Wow...I have sago palms both potted & planted in the backyard...I never knew this myself....I'd be heartbroken if something happened to my dog also. So sorry...it is hard for a child to understand things like this...Another dog in the near future for him?
