Default Soldering work - detail (small) help needed

Just seeing if there are any folks here that are REALLY good at this. We are doing new lighting on the boat, and have had some great early success with building an LED strip. When I tell you these beasts are bright, I'm not kidding...

Anyway, the LEDs we want to try (they are a "warmer" white than the cool whites) are NOT available mounted. While I'm pretty good at soldering, these things are small (3mm x 4mm) and must be mounted flush on the PCB for heat transfer. Here are the LEDs:

Do you have one of those magnifier lamps? A few years ago probably but eye sight isn't so good any more.

If you have a really nice soldering gun with a finer point it shouldn't be a problem

See if you can get a soldering station that you can do the work on that has adjustable heat and tips. Also a good table with the magnifier/light built in and clip arms to help hold would be much easier to do it with.

Are you going to attempt to run solder lines from one to the other like you'd see on a circuit board?

I have several good irons - and I'm decent with them. The big deal with high powered LEDs - especially these - is that they MUST be flat on the mounting board, which then must be flat on a heat sink, in order to disapate the heat they generate. You can't believe how small (head of a pin) AND how bright these things are - they are absolutely blinding. They aren't the lousy ones you get in an LED flashlight...

Anyway, looks like the guy selling me the mounting boards will do a handful for me to test, for about $2 each. I'm thinking that's what I'll do.

Thanks for the encouragement guys - I might try some of the next batch if this works!
