Have you tried the plastic bottle method? Cut the top off of a bottle and turn it around, facing back into the bottle, that way the crab can get into the bottle, but there will be a lip so he cant get back out.

Gl, let us know how it turns out! Maybe after u catch him, you can post a pic of him with the dart in him. Then you can say all other methods failed, but you got him with the blow gun!
