I have two #3s on my 90 gal hex and love them. FSU I think two #3s would work. My hex is only 30" or so wide.
Not a whiz in measurements, but this link says glass up to 15 mm in thickness for the magnet.

Looked up a conversion chart and I believe 15mm is 0.6 inches. So I would guess probably not.
Imo I Dont Think Its Too Much. I Had A Seio M1100 And Koralia #4 In My 50 Gallon N No Problems Now They R In My 75 Gallon N I Still Want Another #4 For The 75 Gallon
I think it would be fine.
As far as the magnetic holder goes, the mount that goes inside the tank also works as a big suction cup. So the magnetic part and the suction part kind of work together, although I've removed the outside magnet part a few times and the body stayed in place inside the tank.

My girlfriend's got a #4 in her freshwater setup; the arowana she had used to love to play in the flow. I've currently got 2 #4s for my my 110g, and a Koralia Nano for her 29g nano, and it creates nice flow in there.

I love the koralias!!! I wa sone of the first people to try them on this site and now have 2 #4's. BA they also have a suction cup attached too the magnet that helps them stay on a little better.
