I've been a member for about a year and have met nothing but good people, willing to put in their personal time to give the local reefers a place to SELL their stuff.

As a former member of BOD's in my two boys various sports related endevors over 15 years and the complainers were never around when there's work to be done. I never had an argument with anyone that came out to get the fields ready for the kids to play. I have had one or two "discussions" with parents who's only input was negative.

For your review:
Take a look at any reef boards "for sale" thread.
Find the "Top 5 Sellers", be it MAAST, ARC, ReefCentral, etc.
Now go to the general discussion board.
See how many of those same names are listed as the top in assisting with:
1- helping to move a tank
2- emergency help
3- general reefkeeping assistance to others
(Get yourself a snickers bar first. You're gonna be a while)

I can tell you from experience I've helped move a few tanks in my first year as a MAAST/ARC member and none of the "Top Sellers" from either board was anywhere to be found when it came time to actually do work (unless they thought they could get something for nothing).

In summation:
BOD - thank you for doing a thankless job

The rest of you'se (that's ya'll for those that don't speak yankee)

Yes but have yet to get any reply from seller. I sent an email the first day it was listed and have heard nothing back. and Stev, thanks for the comments. We try hard to do our best and we hope we are the lesser of two evils...having a BOD or not...
