Default 55 gallon tank and stand

I have a brand new 55 gallon and stand that I'm selling. I'm asking $300 or best offer.

    I have a neglected 29 gallon tank :P

So why no bites? Is it priced too high or are people just not looking for tanks?

Sorry to say it but for a 55g and stand that price is to high. Ive seen them go for as low as $100 for the pair. 55g are one of the most common tanks people buy, but because of there 12" width people with experience in the hobby usually dont buy them. You can also get a new 55g for $99.00 at some places and the stand for another $75-$100 Good luck. Also try craigslist, hate to say it but you get more people on there that are new to the hobby and know less about the value of tanks.

Besides, once it's out the door of the B&M store it's no longer new it's considered used. Once something is used it usually goes for about 1/2 to 1/3 the price on here. I've basically had to give things away before just to get them out of my house. Couldn't even give away a stand to a 180 before. Pretty much the same on all the reef/aquarium sites though.

I bought my 60 gallon oceanic w/ stand glass top, and an emperor 280 for 120 off of craigslist. Looks like yours but, more stuff and not black.
