I have some nubs of this stuff all over my tank, Isn't it spaghetti worms?
Noooooo, Its a plantform but I just cant remember the name off hand..
I have these in my tank from time to time. Apparently they are a good indicator that your calcium levels are superb. I have never seen them that numerous though, your calcium and alk must be perfect. I usually just pull them off from the base and that seems to help.
Is Reef Madness Catchy???
can't remember the name either but their are some sites that sell it as a desirable macro algae
My Reef is Alive and well Despite My repeated Daily attemps to kill it!!
neomeris sp???
It is a calcareous algae ], there was a thread on it a while back. I like it, but only get a few sprigs every now and then. You can scrape it off, but it is a pretty good indicator of where your calcium is, but theyre also using it to grow when your more expensive corals should be using it instead![]()
Sean
I had a couple of them in my tank, but I put a green monti cap near it and I think it killed them. Not sure why, but my calcium is great, and I do 10 day 10% water changes w/ dosing.
