not trying to stir things up, but it does get annoying when you do work on something only to have a cat or dog come and mess it up. I understand that you are trying to be a responsible owner and I commend you for that. There are too few responsible cat owners. In my cul-de-sac there must be 30 strays all from one house. So needless to say I have cat crap all over my yard, truck, everywhere. There is nothing more irritating than having a cat vomit on the hood of you car/truck or scratch it all up when they jump on it. I'm an animal lover, but its just frustrating to see so many wild cats breeding like crazy. sorry to vent, but best of luck with your situation. My best suggestion is keep her indoors.
