If your test kit is a Seachem kit, I've had 2 different sets of bad reagents from them for pH & Alk... I called them on the first set, as it showed 1/2 the correct reading, they admitted they had some bad ones out. The replacements, and they showed 2x the reading. UGH. Bought a Salifert.
