    Default help with refugium

    i wanted to do a refugium but don't really know where to start as far as a good size for a 55 gal any feed back would be apreciated thanks

    I guess it depends on how much room you have. With my 55, I had to do a hang on because I didn't have enough width in my stand to fit a tank, or enough room near my tank to setup another tank.
    No trees were harmed in the writing of this post. However, several electrons were GREATLY inconvenienced.

    As with everything in this hobby go as big as you can with room and $$. For a 55g depending on how the stand is built and rather or not you already have the tank going will determine a lot. Something around 20-30g would be great if you can make it fit. If you need something custom to fit talk to Ace and you cant go wrong ;)

    from what i have understood i would have to have an overflow leading to it since the tank is not drilled

    you are correct, you will need a overflow. aquarium designs sales several diffrent sizes to choose from.
