    Chris,
I was actually talking about all the sporting reports that had come out the day after and up until now. If you read them it sounds as if Romo was a one man screw up that day, kind of like when they played the Eagles the second time around.

I agree that he has been hyped beyond his abilities up until now. The biggest question I have is his arm strength. I only say that because he leaves a lot of balls up in the air way to long and under throws a bunch of balls.

I saw that and was screaming at the TV! It looked like he gave up on the play, then looked back and saw the ball was in the air and tried to catch up with it but of course couldn't. Glenn is a good player, but if he's not fit enough to keep a play going in the playoffs they should have been running Sam Hurd instead.

Crayton could have easily dove and caught the ball. What happened to the fun showman ship? If you are to old to get a little banged up to get a touch down then something needs to change.

It could have been either Glenn or Crayton I really don't remember which one, I just remember it was on the right side of the end zone.

    Pretty sure that was Glenn.

That was one play though and that kind of thing happens with all teams. Receivers think they are too well covered for the QB to throw it to them so they slow up, but the QB still throws the ball. Then other times the QB gives up on the receiver too early and throws the ball somewhere else. It's frustrating, but I couldn't blame Glenn for losing that game, too many other problems with the team to blame it on him. Now if it was Owens, then yeah, he deserves to be picked on! The king of dropped balls.

I don't think Owens would have given up on a play that might have resulted in a TD reception for himself though. Honestly, Glenn probably should not have come back until next season. Giving up on plays like that because he's probably worn out is just one thing, he's also fell down and allowed easy int's and run routes improperly as well. In the NFL the play is too top-notch to be out all season and then come back for a playoff game.

It's also too top notch to go taking a week's vacation in Mexico the week before your first playoff game! I know all the guys on the team are backing him up, but it was the wrong thing to do. While that week was given to them to rest, it was also and extra week to get prepared for a game that was either win or your season's over. A true pro player/team would be focused on their job until the season is actually over. After have a few "off" games, they didn't seem as prepared as they should have been.

Oh well, if Garrett takes a head coaching job for another team, some of the other assistants left over from Parcells (Phillips kept the same assistants Parcells had) will probably either leave or be replaced and then we'll see whether it's the coaching or the players that make the difference.
