    Default Fishing

    A buddy of mine wants to go fishing this weekend. I havnt been fishing in a while. Do I need a fishing license to go to a lake, river, pond etc....

    Yes you do need one, but if you don't plan to go the coast you can get a fresh water only license.

    Go right behind our apartment. My cousin goes there all the time and catches bass.

    If you just want fresh then yes if you want to do salt you will need the salt endorsement. go to some of the pwr plant lakes and you will do just fine. if you have the right equipment for saltwater then the reds are out in the surf right now and the specs can be found in the bay in good numbers when its cold you have to find the holes that they are hiding in.

    They do carry a 3 day and 1 year license , $14 and $33 .i think..
