Niger for me. I tried to add a bigger blue throat trigger and he wasn't having it. He kept him hiding behind the overflow box until I pulled him out and sold him.

My yellow tang so far, but he was one of the first into the tank. Two more fish I'd like to get and see what happens is a Harlequin Tusk and a Sohal Tang so things may change.

Knock on wood. So far, my Sohol is around #4 or #5 in the tank... But, he was the next to last (rabbitfish was the last).

For me it is a barred Rabbitfish (S. doliatis). Didn't start that way. In fact when he was added 2 years ago he was probably at the bottom of the list and was picked on heavily by my yellow tang. Now that he is 8" nobody messes with him. He isn't aggressive too much either, though at feeding time he makes sure he gets all that he wants.

My two yellow tangs keep the clown in check. The bicolor and foxface also keep the clown in check. It's kind of cool to watch. The clown will turn dark, but none of the fish are scared of him at all.

Really, I have a 6-7" Male Christmas wrasse that is somewhat shy and doesnt mess with anyone, but my large male bird wrasse is very bold and stills food from every fish in the tank if he gets the chance. Love how the same species of fish can have completely diffrent personalities.

All I have right now is a Lunare Wrasse and I can already tell he's gonna be the boss. He killed all my hermit crabs within a week. Actually there is one left but it's pretty big ( the wrasse is like 3 inches ) and the wrasse doesn't mess with him. The instant the lights go out he darts into his little hiding place and will not come out til the lights come back on.
