Devil's Hand

I have a nice devil's hand frag, but I am afraid that it will die from me jacking with it. I have super glued it 2 times just to have it fall off the rock within a day. The third time, I left it out a while before gluing to ensure it and the rock were dry (by continuous blotting), put the glue on the base and let it set for 1 min to start to dry, then put it on the rock and put extra glue around the base. I let it set out of water for 5 more min so that the glue could dry completely. It stayed for 2 days, and actually opened up the second day, so it's not dead yet. How do I get this stuff to stick to a rock? I would expect this from shrooms or xenia, but not a leather.

Much better to use a rubber band around leathers or get some of those sharp cocktail plastic toothpicks and pierce the leather and put the toothpick into a hole in the rock or plug until the leather attaches. Softies tend to exude a mucus that makes supergluing almost impossible.
