    Default Tubing Suggestions

Let me start off by saying I strongly dislike clear vinyl tubing - it either kinks or the reinforced type gets bulky. With the new tank, space will be tight in the cabinet. Has anyone used the black corrugated tubing? What is the best solution for plumbing in tight spaces.

Here is an example from Marine Depot:

Have you considered hard plumbing with PVC?

I haven't thought too much about using hard PVC... that may be a better way to go?

Just hard plumbed my sump/fuge. It rocks!!! I probably only spent 20 bucks on everything including the primer and cement.

    2 10 foot segment sof pvc 3.00
    a hand full of 90 degree angles .27 each-maybe 2.70 total
    1 inch ball valve 5.00
    1/2 inch ball valve 2.50
    1 2 way splitter 1.15
    1 cap off end- .27
    cement/primer 5.00

    19 and change.

and I fitted my tank with a spraybar return across the top of the waterline. no other way makes any sense to me.

you could also use spaflex. that black stuff you pictured might reduce you flow considerably because of the corregation on the inside.
