I love my Icecaps and feel I won't be buying anything else. I've got a few of the 250 halide and a couple of 660's. I can say that a couple of my 250 halide ballasts have been running every day for several years with not a single glitch.

I've had 2 ARO VHO ballasts and never had any problems with them. Icecap seems to be the preferred name brand though.

I always thought that the Icecap and ARO were both made by the same company but could be wrong. That being said I've been running ARO for both my VHO and Halides and like them just fine.
