    Default Bulkheads in SA?

Ace is drilling my tank this afternoon and I need to pick up a set of bulkheads. It's for a 75 gallon tank. He said he thinks Aquarium Designs has them off 281/Brook Hollow. I'm either going with 1.25" or 1.5". Any idea how much these run? Are there different types of bulkheads besides the diameter? This is my first tank drill and I know nothing about them.

Alamo Aquatics on Bandera has (usually) a supply of different sizes. They are a little pricey, though.
The throat can be tapered smooth, or threaded.
Ask Ace about any future applications or preferences.

At AD, I think I saw them for close to 15 bucks give or take a dollar or two either way. If you live near that one store off of Bandera (not wolf reef), but the other one..Alamo Aquatics, I believe it is...their bulkheads were right around 10 bucks. They are cheaper online, but if you need them now, that is not an option.

I priced these about a month ago.

Ace said in some sizes they make some that are "shallower" than others and these are preferable. I assume this means they don't stick into the tank as much?

go to home depot and get schedule 40 bulkheads. they are like 8 bucks. Make sure to ask ace what size hole he is drilling so you can match it with the appropriate size bulkhead.
