Oh, I'll second Bill's comment on Bonds. My question is that why are they going after Bonds for perjury when didn't Palmero swear in front of Congress that he didn't use roids and then he tested positive just a few weeks later? I never heard anything about him being indicted for that.

IMO, most of the guys on the list are considered average to ok to decent players, looking for an edge to help them tot he next level. They didn't have any/enough pure talent. The big names on there might just be to help bring things into perspective. But my question is, where are Sosa and McGwire's names?

Well correct me if I am wrong but wasn't Sosa caught using a corked bat? If his name is on that list then that makes him a double loser. Well no need to correct me because I am right.

I could care less if the players use performance enhancing drugs. If I wanted to watch a bunch of mediocre athletes play I'd watch college ball. We watch NFL, MLB, NBA because we want to watch extreme performances. The problem that I have is when the drugs are illegal in general, then the players should suffer legal consequences. Anything that can be purchased legally I have no problem with.

The problem is that these players are using these enhancement drugs, legal or not, at the expence of their long term health, just ask the family of Mr. Benjoit.

Didn't you state once that you'd like to legalize pot? ;) Seriously, it's their own bodies... Tons of people still smoke, are we going to outlaw MLB players from smoking cigarettes now also? ;) How many people do seriously stupid stuff that hurts their body for a couple hundred grand on game shows and such? These dudes get millions in exchange for some risk of long term health problems. Also, much of the stuff you can get legally isn't all that bad anyway.

Kick em out / don't induct them and give Pete another chance since he's come clean and had his mea culpa.

Barry is a grade 'A' !%%@*^# and steroids just add to reasons people would like to not see him inducted, athletic acheivments or not.
