tank is 1 week old now, still holding up ok =)
i registered and log-on to this website many time, but have not post anything, until now

I have been fighting with lot of micro bubble from the skimmer and drain for the last few day, finally, adding the filter sock fixed it. water is cleared now.

Just figured I shared a picture of the tank before coralline grow everywhere =)
I know coralline is good, but i hate them.

    thanks for the comment.

One thing I like to ask : I got the Iwaki WMD40RXLT used. It runs cool to the touch, but there is a lot of the vibration caused by pump, ie there is a humming noise that I can hear it from across the room (constant vibration, does not sound like any loose or broken). I really like to fix this noise, does anyone have one of these pump ? does it suppose to run like this? maybe I need to get another pump to try.

Usually whatI know other people have done is use some kitchen drawer lining to put underneath the pump. It will absorb alot of the vibration.

mouse pad eh. I'll give that a try. Right now I have the pump mounted to the stand, but I guess that transfer all the vibration to the stand.
i'll get a silicon mouse pad and try =). thanks
