Yeppers, pick up the information book TPWD puts out every year before hunting seasons begin. You can find them anywhere hunting licenses are sold. Even if you are an experienced hunter, dates and limits change frequently so it's best to check it out before Mr. Game Warden stops by. If you are an inexperienced hunter, take the hunter's education class.

As far as hunting sights go, sounds like you have a good place. We haven't seen very many hogs this year compared to past years, probably due to lots of people catching them and selling them to the meat companies. Amazing how such a nasty animal can fetch big money in the fantsy restaurants in some parts of the world. I do admit the smaller ones are rather tasty when marinated and grilled just right!
