    It was on again at midnight, and I fell asleep during it. I saw the grape shot, but that was the last thing I saw. What happened with the silverware, leg and chain?

    The silverware didn't work well. It would probably have hurt someone in near area but it wasn't an accurate shot, everything just warped and went it different directions. The leg disintegrated when it was shot. When they were looking at it all you could see were splinters everywhere, no chunks of wood at all. And the chain acted like a bullet. It shot through the pig, literally tore it in half, and hit the hill behind intact. It was the best type of ammo by far! Way better than the grape shot, knives, and nails. Although the nails did some pretty bad damage too.

    I can't wait till the MacGyver episode.

    Thanks for the update...

    A pair of smaller cannon balls and attached chain was often used for dismasting...

    Dismaasting is a DIRTY word around here bubba, better watch it!
