    Default sump question

    is it posible to make a reptile tank into a sump?
    if so how do i go about that?
    thanks any comments would be great.

    I would check the thickness of the glass. Some tanks designed for reptiles have very thin glass and might not withstand the pressure of the water in a sump. If the glass thickness is OK and it is watertight, I think making it a sump is reasonable. You can add either glass (stronger) or acrylic baffles. Measure carefully and have it cut to fit. HTH.

    also fill it with water out side and let it sit their for a little bit to make sure it will hold water
