    Default suppliers?

    my aunt is opening up a marine aquatics shop in my hometown and i was just wondering who might be a good supplier to get her fish and well basically any thing else from? im hoping the vendors chime in here lol , shes got some in mind but wants to know who is getting wat from who over here in san anotnio

    sorry, but I doubt if you'll get a lot of straight answers to that one. Fish stores don't usually share those kinds of secrets

    Pacific AquaFarms, Quality Marine, Exotic Reef Imports, Sea Dwelling Creatures, ORA, Seagrest...and too many more to name.

    All are good for some things, not so good for others. There isn't one supplier who is the best at everything.

    She'll have to develop her own short list of suppliers based on what she is trying to offer. Quality Marine (qualitymarineusa.com) is a good one to start with. Overall good selection, quality, fill rate, and they are pretty good about crediting for doa's.

    Ask around on the industry forum on reefs.org.

    That's almost a straight answer right?

    they also told me about this place called both freshwater inc and saltwater inc that supplies fish to most of the petcos here in sa, they told me they are situated in dallas. anyone know about them?

    yeah, i was also told to contact lone star pet supply for other products other than livestock. i also need somewere to get some freshwater fish and a couple of reptiles and maybe some small animals and rodents
