Back from the Grave

I had this Arabian dottyback (Neon Pseudochromis) for about 3 years. I got it from another MAAST member a while back and its been one of the most interesting members of my tank. Its very large for a dottyback (4-5"), but it was the smallest fish in the tank (The other fish were large tangs and a niger trigger).
A couple of months back I found my niger trigger dead on the floor after it apperantly jumped from the tank. At the same time I realized that I couldn't find the dotty back. I was sad to see both go, but I figured now I can diversify the fish in the tank since those 2 were the meanest SOBs there. since then I've added 2 fire fish, a royal grama, a mandrine goby, a cleanner shrimp and a coral banded shrimp.
Yesterday I was doing a water change and noticed something moving in the overflow. It didn't register at first, but it finally clicked. That tough %$#@ has been living in the overflow for the past couple of months. I'm guessing the trigger was chasing him (or vis versa ) and they both made an areal maneuver ala matrix style slow-mo, one ended on the floor and the other in the over flow.
My dilemma now is that I can't add him back to the tank because of the smaller fish I've added the past couple of months. He is fine in the overflow for now (the overflow for my 175G is probably a few gallons with the water level raiser kit) but eventually I have to get him out of there.
I'm contemplating adding a new nano reef just for him, but I don't think I have the time to take care of another tank. I might end up posting him in the for sale section soon :(

Do you have a fuge? Put it there for the time being. Good ending to what is typically a bad story!

If the new fish have been in there for a while, he might be okay to add back into the tank. The shrimp would probably be the main thing in danger, but in that size tank, he might get along fine with everything...

I think the fuge might be a good option. I have to clean up some of the macro algae in there so he can have some swimming room. I also though that the fish might be OK since they have been there for a while now, and he has to reestablish himself in the tank, but if I'm wrong there is no way I can get him out of the main tank without fully dismantling it.

I would think twice about putting it in the fuge. Fuges are there to support and hide life benificial to the reef. Putting a small predator in there could decimate your pod population.!!!

My fuge has 2 separate compartments. originally I wanted cheato in one and xenia in the other, but the chaeto took over both. If I put him, he will only be in one half of the fuge. even then, I think it will be temporary until I find him another home
