    Default Feeding Question

I've been turning my return pump (Ehiem 1262) off before feeding every night. After start-up there are a ton of bubbles that blow into the tank.

The questions are can I turn it off and on daily without burning the pump out and are the bubbles bothering my corals?

I get the same thing happen when I turn on my pump. I have the same one as you. The only thing I can tell is that it starts so quickly that it pushes air from the pipes into the tank. I also have my seios and hydors stop and when I strat them up again they suck up air and shoot it into the tank.

Mine does too - but not a huge amount. I only turn off my sump pump. Seios and closed loops stay running.
