To do the img tag thing just do...
*img*http://i239.photobucket.com/albums/f...DM1Scarlet.jpg */img*

but use brackets [img] instead of *

then it will show the pic instead of the url like....

Thanks for all the info on posting the pics. I've never tried it before.
