    Default Weird Noise??

I have a weird clicking sound coming from my aquarium at night. I am not wanting to think that it is a mantis shrimp gettin into my snails and crabs, but I don't know what else it could be. It could have come with some of the new rock I acquired. If it is this does anyone know a proper way to remove it?

Break out the flash light and see if you can find him. Also something I would look for are broken shells. Not sure of this but from what I understand about them is that they crack the shells to get the food, but I could be wrong.
To be or not to be? That is the Question. Or is it, To reef or not to reef?

They undoubtedly smash the snail/hermit shells to pieces in order to get the food out. They will use their hammer/claw (depending on the species) to crack the shells which usually sends it flying across the tank. Look for a pile of smashed shells, or wait a couple hours after lights out and get a flashlight on the tank... be patient and watch. Oh and make sure it's not sand stuck in some impeller, or something mechanical, just in case.

Could water be dripping on a plug anywhere?

All of my plugs are a safe distance away from the aquarium, and I had checked to see if they were wet. I will check the aquarium later tonight with a flash light.
