for those of you out their that have encrusting monti's,where do you have yours placed?up high, down low, high flow no flow, and how do you get them to color up so nicely.
and if anyone has any could you shot some pics.

i have these two up pretty high and another two about mid.
so i need some feed back because i want them to grow out with out me moving them too much.

As learned at MACNA, for montis, lower = more coloration AND growth

First off what is your light type? If your running MH definitely lower or partly shaded. I put my at the bottom when first introducing them. Here are some new pieces I got this weekend (After I pried them away from Bigbirds hands).

Hopefully they will color up nicely!!!

I consider most Moni's the weed of sps, its been my experience that they will grow in just about any environment making them an excellent beginners coral.

What kind of lights, how old are the bulbs, what size tank (dimensions)?

Mine are medium to low in the tank but are still getting good light, superman actually looks better in high light. Yours look a little bleached I would let them stay at the bottom of your tank until they get a little more color then move them up a little.
