    Default Clown Trigger in 55g

I have a small clown trigger (spotty) in my 55 gallon. I've had him for a while, and he has grown quite a lot! But I was wondering....to how many inches long should I let Spotty grow until I should let him go? I don't want him to overgrow the tank, you know?

    Buy a bigger tank ;)

I would start looking for a new home for it, it will get unhappy in a 55 very quickly!

I would reccommend moving him once he hits 4-5" or else he will either be depressed, or get fiesty and start picking on fish, coral, inverts... anything that moves practically

When you can't control your algae problem it will be time to move him. Other than that enjoy him for the next couple of years, unless you get one that grows really fast.

so the 4-5 inch range? I have about 7 or 8 months until I get shipped off to college, so that might be a good time... I'm going to get rid of him when he reaches 4-5 inches no matter what though..
