    Question Weird Algae

I did a search to try and find it but accomplised nothing. I have Neon Green tube like algae growing on my rocks. Im talking bright tennis ball green tubes. Never seen anything like it before. I have all sorts of weird algeas growing in my tank but this one just came about. Cant get a pic with my camera. Anyone have any clue or any thought on what this may be. The tank is 3 1/2-4 months old now so I do have coraline, bubble, hair, diatoms, red slime ......... Plenty of others that can be identified. Here lately ive been doing weekly water changes with store bought DI or RO water. Normally I get ED at phenominal to make my saltwater but havnt made it to his store in a few weeks Ive never used tap though so hopefully thats not a problem.

Dang, I'm blanking on the name but it a desirable calcareous algae. Very pretty if you can keep it growing but most of the time it eventually dies off in most tanks, much like halimeda.

You might want to go get some emerald crabs if your seeing bubble algae, the rest will clear up with time & good water quality.

Great job finding it Noodle, now I have a name. Here is a pic I found. From what I read they are not bad; some people have them and some dont. I have a colony of them growing on a rock and they are sprouting up here and there.
