Anyone watch the reef show on Discovery?
Yesterday I caught bits and pieces of a reef show on Discovery. Very neat. Greta coverage on watching coral frags grow into colonies. Best part of all was watching where "aragonite sand" comes from. According to the guy on the tube, large parrot fish swarm in and eat corals and rock, this in turn poops out beaches.

Man, I miss cable. When can I go A La Carte for shows like this?

I love watching reef shows on Discovery HD on my plasma. The colors make you jaw drop.

It's part of a series they have been running for a few weeks now. Kind of a follow up to the Planet Earth series. The one that is on coral reefs where the scientists have it down to the exact day and hour that each coral species spawns is pretty incredible. It would be cool to know those exact times and watch our tanks to see if our corals spawn the same way that wild colonies do.

Definitely a great documentary - I only wish I bought the dvd's when I was working at the Discovery store w/ my employee discount! D'oh!
Still sorta decently priced though. I have it on my Christmas list already.
