Exclamation Tank Leak!!! What Di I Do

I came home from work tonight to find that my tank has a medium leak at the bottom of the tank where i can't reach it. if i buy a new tank to be an exact replacement for my 30 gal, i have to spend 40 bucks or so. i have a 60 gallon tank however that i can put everything into. but will it cycle hard, or should i not worry. and if i get a brand new 30 gal. will that cycle if i use the same water from the leaker. what do i do? or looking for cheap 30 gal.
Big MAC with cheese! I love my MAC!

Use new sand or rinse your existing sand with water to prevent a cycle. Transfer all your water from your old tank. Your tank water will not cause a cycle but the detritus in your sand will.

you will have a cycle no matter what, but the bacteria in the rock should help out a lot.

What Jeff said, the only thing I would have to add if you have a hair algae problem the change could crash your tank.
