    Default Remora Pro baffle loose

After noticing a noise from my tank, I found that the baffle with the hole for the injector had fallen down into the skimmer. The warranty is for 90 days from purchase, and it has been 97 days. I sent an e-mail to Aqua-c, but they will not see it until tomorrow. Also, if they do decide to repair it as warranty, the warranty states that they have 90 days to repair or replace.

Luckily I have no fish in my tank, just a nice growing population of micro-crustaceans for a future dragonet. This is the only mechanical (and chemical since I place carbon in the Remora pre-filter box) filtration I have. I would rather not have the micro-life and numerous snails die, especially since I have grown rather fond of just watching them, while patiently (which is hard for me) waiting until I am ready for the other creatures I want to add.

Should I wait and see if Aqua-c will do the work or is someone out their that would be willing to check it out for me. I am sure I could, and am planning on learning to work with acrylic, but I don't think this is the project for me to start with.

    Thanks,

    Billy Miles

Also this is a great site, and I love the amount of information. I have been a lurking Charter Member for a few months, and plan to make my first meeting today.

Just saw this thread. It sounded like an easy fix but props to Aqua-C. Sounds like good customer service!

One of the reasons I chose their skimmer, was because I had been told they really stand behind their products. Which is great for me, as it is my first protein skimmer. Steve in customer service, said that eventhough they have the 90 day warranty, for issues such as mine they will actually go out a couple of years.

    So thanks Aqua-C.
