ooh, wooden boats, now we're talking. i helped a guy up in Seward alaska doing some work on an old wooden boat. it was actually the first boat to circumnavigate the earth, with a solo woman at the healm. it needed alot of work to be seaworthy again, but so worth it. a beutifull one piece oak mast, awesome woodwork on the interior, heavy brass portholes, a fine antique boat!
