    Default SPS Wars...

OK, so I'm becoming overgrown. I have a couple of situations where the colonies are grown to the rock, and now competing for space. I had one a couple of weeks ago entirely RTN on me, and it had GROWN to the neighboring colony. Here are a couple of photos. Recommendations? One shows an acro vs. a cap. They are all intertwined now.

sometimes they will work it out on their own and sometimes that means that one will kill its neighbor. not usually the case, but it happens. that is why i prune my colonies - better than losing one to a territorial dispute.

OK. Out with the snippers on Saturday... The cap/acro might be difficult.

Same experience here. Sometimes they have a truce for a long time and then boom one will rtn without warning. Caps always beat acros IME.

Yeah, Richard, that's what happened a couple of weeks ago to one of those SW "frags". It was about 4". BOOM. It went overnight. When I pulled it out, it was attached to another colony.
