Before I bought anymore fish id make sure and get proper filtration for the tank. Damsels will practically live in any conditions but tangs, angels and most other need pristine water. My guess would be that he developed ich from 1 improper water parems and confined space. Id recommend Sump and Skimmer, not a wetdry and fish that will thrive in a 50g. Good luck ;)
