I have noticed lately that my hairy mushrooms are turning inside out and look like little jelly fish...any ideas on what this means and if I should do anything about it?
Thanks, Anita

I notice that my mushrooms overextend themselves when they are in direct light for too long. Ther turn almost clear. Could it be that your mushrooms are just streching out?

Sometimes they'll do what I call 'inversion', meaning they will close in on themselvs almost like an anemone at feeding time. Its possible that they may just be feeding, mine do it all the time.
That's what there doing but it makes them look like tiny jelly fish. I caught one with brine shrimp. I was feeding my sand sifting goby b/c he won't sift the sand anymore...he just waits for me to feed him. ;)![]()
