They are the same company as All Glass Aquariums just under a different name for aquarium products. AGA is a pretty reputable brand and I have never heard of any problems with their heaters, although they haven't been making them for as long as Marineland so it might be that it hasn't been long enough for any feedback. I say go for it and if you don't like it, just return it.
