    Default what size power head?

I have a PRO CLEAR SKIMMER but no power head for it. I just don't know what I should put on it. The mfg. said any thing up to 300gph. HERE IT IS - http://www.proclearaquatics.com/skimmers.html it is the MPS 75.

I had one similar, Ace modded it. It is a maxijet 1200. He took an airstone and a piece of large (1.5") tubing. Cut the tubing at about 5 inches. dangle the airstone through the top of the hole and put the inlet of the maxi in the same hole. Pull the airstone close to the inlet, leaving as much tubing as possible to act as a shroud to keep the bubbles from escaping. attach an air pump and viola!
