Yes, do smaller freqent changes until the ammonia levels begin to drop. First thing you need to do is locate and remove the source of the ammonia, are any fish missing or have you added any new live rock?
When you say Amonia Spike,, what is the reading? are you missing any fish or have you messed with your sand bed recently? Do you have Bioballs in your system? What are your No3 and No4 readings. What do you mean by corals look bad? no polyp extension? Yes water change is a good idea

oky i will do the water changes reading are 8.0 ammonia nitrate 180ppm its like it is cycleing again no ia add some coral vite and so stronium and and some aother fliter feeder food for the corals like always do
should i add some ammo lock to d toxi my tank
if readings are that bad , i would do whatever i can.. before using ammo lock i would do several large back to back water changes.. and find the source of the problem
