    Default Water test

Well my Bio Cube 29 has been setup for 6 days now and I wanted to see what the Water Chem was. Keep in mind the LR from Ed wont be in untill 6/21 so I know that will change these results, but heres what I have at 6/18/07

    Salt 1.023
    Calc 540 ppm
    KH 214.8 ppm
    Phos 0.0/0.25
    nitrate 0 ppm

Im bought the API Master Reef Test Kit. What do you guys think? As stated above the LR will change these readings im sure once in on Thursday.

    Thanks
    Ray

Do you have any livestock in the tank now?

Just be carefull for a spike in your readings when adding the live rock. But if there is only sand and water in there now, hang on and enjoy the 'cycle ride' ;)

Nothing but sand and water. After the rock goes in wont be untill 3-4 wks untill I add anything.

I'm in the group orders of Ed's also. Anxious to see the quality of rock once it gets here Thursday. At least you get to look at yours right away....mine's going to be thrown in a trash can to sit for another month or so ;)

I see, what size tank is yours for? Or is it going in an exsisting tank, but just adding more LR?
