Favorite Fiction Books?

I've read every Henry Miller book over and over again since I was about 13. I guess since I own most of his work you could say I'm a huge fan. Letters to Brenda was a sad diary as you can read photocopies of his actual letters to her, you watch his degradation from an important author to barely a man.

Dunno about actual books but some of my favorite writers of fiction:

Cormac McCarthy
Charles Bukowski
Herman Melville (I am one of those people that actually finished Moby **** - twice!)
Flannery O'Connor
Ray Bradbury
Fyodor Dostoevsky
Joseph Conrad
Samuel Clemens (actually a first cousin of mine by blood many generations removed)

CFRMike - I like Henry Miller too but most of what I've read is non fiction like 'The Air Conditioned Nightmare' and 'Big Sur and the Oranges of Herionymous Bosch'

The trouble with Miller is that most of his work is written in some sort of half reality half fantasy. Some things he wrote that he thought he did, he didn't actually do. Some things he wrote about are things we longed to do but never did. It's hard to separate what is real and what is not, that's the best part.
