Warning "Chemi-clean" Disaster!

I used Chemi-clean in my system twice with no problems. I have 90% SPS with clams.

I even double the dose each time. I agree with Richard, something else was going on in your tank. Especially with nitrates jumping up so fast. Maybe things were about to go downhill anyway and you used Chemi-claen just as that was happening.

anyone had any success ukilling cyano w/o chemiclean??

I have just let it go a couple times in my sump. I didn't do anything special to it and it went away on it's own. It has never gotten into my main system.

I also used it with out any problems.
