anyone look at the RC TOTM?

it looks like the tank is very dimmly lit. but he as great color and growth even on the bottom side. I have issues now with my corals receding at the base, and flow is not an issue in my tank so it has to be shadows from the upper coral branches. any ideas on this.

i'm running a CV 12k 250 on Eballast and 2-75wt vho's on a 30x30x25 cube. i was thinking about getting a luminarc. to see if that helps

well yea i kno it is not dim, it looks to be in the first few pics.

the CV is only a month old. from talk'n with Ace, he loves his bulbs and yea they aren't anywhere the brightness of my old Ham. 10k. I figured that the luminarc would give a better spred then my current pendent. i am gonna try the luminarc and if that doesn't help the spred i'm gonna change to a CV 10K. or get a 400wt ballast and bulb.

the coral i'm talk'n about is a humilus, on one side it is growing like mad and the other that gets shadows it is loosing PE and dieing. the only thing i can think of is it is not getting enough light around the back side of it's base. all other areas of the coral are fine.
