Nah, I got some SERIOUS growth out of the Iwasakis, I knew my tank was going to look brown for a while. Thanks man, I'll check that out.

do it man we want to see BIG pics!
::edit:: I think once I get the hang of corals I am going to use that method. slam your corals with some yeller, then, color em up.
I had 2 - 175w 12K's that were 14 months old when I last tested, one was at 95% and the other was at 100% brightness. Doesn't fit the typical MH burn out or depletion in brightness as other MH lamps. Although I just recently sold this tank I am keeping up with the current owner to see how long they will last before they need to be replaced. Going on 15 months.
Don't feel bad I took out my T5HO and VHO and I just have 2-250w/1-175w MH on my 200 gal and the same combination on my 158 gal. The 175w's(one on each tank) run on two of the old coral life solar systems that where famous in the late 90's with dimming ballast that take two hours to get to full brightness and 2 hours to dim down to full darkness. Curious to see how long they last. The funny thing is when you take a picture they look bluer than in real life?
Wow, Photobucket is pretty cool,...Thanks Joseph!!!
AWESOME PICS! Your tank is great!
Thanks man...I've put a lot of time into it over the past 6 months.
