Thread: I lost my corals!

  1. #1

    Default I lost my corals!

I put an SPS and a colony of yellow skirts in the tank last night in what I though to be relatively low current areas. They wouldn't budge, so I thought they'd be fine until today when I could get some glue. My deleted sea hare seems to have knocked them both off into my rockwork! I've moved all the rocks around that I can and I cant find the them anywhere! :(
Maybe I'll find a bunch of zoos come popping out of my rock in a month or so.

At least my Superman Ricordia's doin' well. :unsure

Euclid, find them. Look hard and long at your tank. I had some eagle eyes get buried and by the time I found them it was too late.

this has happened to me a couple time.

nothing will hack you off more than seeing your decorator urchin wandering your tank w/ a 50$ Purple People Eater attatched to it's back. especially when you know that sucker was superglued down.

Not that case, but my decorator urchin has been the downfall (i.e.) dropping in the rockwork) of about 180$ of coral where he decided to start hauling around the frag plugs and then dropped them where I couldn't find them, or was unwilling to risk everything else to try and find them.

Next time he does it, he's gonna go sailing over the back fence for the racoons and armadillos to munch on.
"Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words - "mank" and "ind". What do these words mean ? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankind." ~ Jack Handey
